Who are we?
Novosibirsk State University is located at the heart of Akademgorodok, a world-famous research center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It was founded in the 1960s in the Siberian taiga as the birth place for new ideas and technologies. Now it's a world-class research and educational cluster with 35 research institutes, innovative Technopark and the University at the heart of this well-balanced system.

About the Medical Department
The Institute of Medicine and Psychology of the Novosibirsk State University trains specialists in the field of General Medicine. Thanks to the scientific and research knowledge base obtained not only by a full medical, but also by a perfect natural science education. The mission of the Institute is the training of highly qualified research physicians who undergo an extensive clinical practice, have natural scientific knowledge and possess the skills of experimenters - which allows them to continue working in practical medicine and in scientific activities.
